Protest Calderon - Seattle protest wrapped up! Las Vegas just starting

Seattle, WA 2/14/08

The protest of Felipe Calderon's 1st visit to the United States wrapped up in Seattle today and now the protest is just getting started on the Las Vegas strip!

 I was told by phone that Minutemen are giving hugs to passers-by and that they are being well received by locals and tourists alike! Quite a different reception from what we witnessed in Seattle. But given the neighborhood we were in, it wasn't a surprise. I'll get pictures from the Las Vegas protest as soon as I have them.  

 It was nice to see so many people in Seattle, it was an EXCELLENT turn out for a week day, at least 20 people. Some patriots even came down on their lunch hour to be with everyone. Alot of effort was put into the protest signs to give them a Valentine theme, they were really cool.
